Enquiry form

Send a message

Please read before using the form. This site is a set of static pages with no server-side application behind it, so there is nothing here that can receive or store a message. Submitting the form opens your own email application with the details filled in; the message is sent only when you press send there. The archive will not tell you a message has been sent when it has not. If you prefer, write directly to im@digantsharma.com.

Optional.

If you are sending a correction, please include the source — a book and page, a dated newspaper report, a judgment, a catalogue entry.

Fields marked are required. Nothing typed here is transmitted to this website or stored by it.

What is most useful to send

Four kinds of message the archive can act on

01

A correction with a source

A date, a name, a sequence of events or a description of a work that is wrong — accompanied by where the correct version can be verified. Corrections without a source cannot be acted on, though they are still worth sending.

02

Photographic provenance

A photographer, a date, a place, an occasion or a rights holder for any plate in the gallery. Almost all of them are currently catalogued as ‘not recorded’, and any documented detail is an improvement.

03

A sourced quotation

A statement attributed to JP that can be traced to a book, a dated report or a recording. The archive deliberately quotes him rarely; it would like to be able to quote him more.

04

A rights claim

If you hold rights in an image reproduced here, write and the archive will credit it properly or remove it, as you prefer.
